Orengo on the radio. The ‘books of others’ told in a 20-year career

Abstract

Nico Orengo hasn’t been only a novelist and a poet, but also a book reviewer for «La Stampa» and its book insert «Tuttolibri». This paper aims to demonstrate how Orengo has managed with “books of others” not only in the newspapers but also through his interviews for Rai radio programs, in which he has dealt with classics, bestsellers, and publishing for three decades. Moreover, this article attempts to map Orengo’s activity as a writer for Rai during the Seventies, a period of his life still little studied.
